City of Trail Races
Why Sponsor?
Your contribution allows area families and individuals to participate in an event that promotes health and physical activity. The City of Trails Races is dedicated to providing a high-quality event that draws both participants and spectators. It is our hope to highlight the natural resources that are abundant in our area along with the local businesses and tourism opportunities in this community. Each year it is our goal to contribute funds to the local chapter of the Ice Age Trail Foundation and other environmental projects.
Since 1993, National Trails Day® has inspired many thousands of people to enjoy trails on the same day, nationwide. In 2002, St. Croix Falls became the “City of Trails” and began the tradition of celebrating the miles of unique and scenic treks located within our city limits with a race on National Trails Day.
Joining forces with the Indianhead Chapter of the Ice Age Trail Alliance and the City of Trails Trail Run this event is in its twenty first year.
Sponsorship Opportunities
The 21st annual City of Trails Trail Run is happening again. The race will occur on Saturday, June 1st, in St. Croix Falls at the Trap Rock Brewing Company. Excitement is already building in the running community, and planning is underway for a terrific event and memorable weekend. We want YOU to be part of the success!
We invite you to join us in sponsoring this community wellness event in one or both possible ways:
• Monetary donation
• Volunteer as a team member/volunteer.
Beyond race expenses, a significant contribution goes to the Indianhead Chapter of the Ice Age Trail Federation and/or community wellness/trail needs. In exchange for a monetary contribution, depending on the level of sponsorship purchased, sponsors will receive the following advertising:
Level 1- Pothole $150
• Race Day sponsor recognition at start/finish line. Several announcements of your business all morning. Please provide your advertising script.
• A coupon/giveaway from your business is inserted into each swag bag for runners AND volunteers. Please provide your coupon/giveaway.
Level 3- Glacier $350
• Race Day sponsor recognition at start/finish line. Several announcements of your business all morning. Please provide your advertising script
• A coupon (optional) from your business is inserted into each swag bag for runners AND volunteers. Please provide your coupon/giveaway
• Logo included on sponsor page of www.cityoftrailraces.com
• Your company name on race shirts
• Signage at the event in the form of 3-yard signs, color, printed on both sides on pre-registration and Race Day. May 31st and June 1st.
• A swag bag giveaway is inserted into each bag with your business name as donating. We purchase the item that runners would enjoy adding your business name.
Level 2- Esker $250
• Race Day sponsor recognition at start/finish line. Several announcements of your business all morning. Please provide your advertising script.
• A coupon/giveaway from your business is inserted into each swag bag for runners AND volunteers. Please provide your coupon/giveaway.
• Logo included on sponsor page of www.cityoftrailraces.com
• Your company name on race shirts
Level 4- Mammoth $500
• Race Day sponsor recognition at start/finish line. Several announcements of your business all morning. Please provide your advertising script
• A coupon (optional) from your business is inserted into each swag bag for runners AND volunteers. Please provide your coupon/giveaway

• Your company name on race shirts (large font and logo)
• Signage at the event in the form of 3-yard signs, color, printed on both sides on pre-registration and Race Day. May 31st and June 1st.

• Facebook feature and active link to your company website (Facebook and website)
• Email blast to the participants thanking them for attending with your information included.

Volunteer
There are many reasons why you should volunteer at City of Trail Races. First and foremost, you'll be supporting a great cause and helping to make the event a success. You'll also have the opportunity to meet new people and make connections in the running community. Volunteering is a great way to give back and be a part of something bigger than yourself.
